The Tchaboom project was a cartoon series created in Portugal, which revolved around a group of friends who discover a magical book that transforms their world. Throughout the story, each character learns the importance of empathy and the impact their actions have on others.
I was involved in the project from the very early stages, defining the illustration style and production pipeline, which was a critical step in bringing the series to life. Being part of the initial stages of the project gave me a unique opportunity to contribute my ideas and expertise and helped shape the project's direction.
Later on, I moved to the animation team, where I worked as a lead animator for the entire first season, trained junior animators, and solved various production issues.
I hold the Tchaboom project dear to my heart, as it was a creative endeavor that allowed me to grow and learn immensely. Having the chance to work on a project from the beginning and define the project's look and feel was an amazing experience. The lessons I learned from this project have stayed with me and influenced my approach to many subsequent projects.
