The World Bank - Climate Change Action Plan project was a series of videos created for the World Bank's Climate Change Action Plan. The World Bank came to us with the request to create a series of videos that would help explain the problems of climate change and the solutions proposed by the World Bank in an easy-to-understand and engaging way. As the Art Director, I was responsible for the overall design, animation and creative direction of the project.
We began by working closely with the World Bank team to understand the key information that needed to be communicated in the videos. We then proposed a visual style that would effectively convey the seriousness of the problem, while also being engaging and interactive. We decided to use a combination of 2D and 3D animation techniques, illustrations and motion graphics to present the information in an interactive and entertaining way.
We created original illustrations and animations that were used throughout the series of videos. We also worked closely with script writers to create a series of five videos, ranging from 1 to 2 minutes in length. The final product was a visually striking and engaging series of videos that effectively communicated the importance of the Climate Change Action Plan and the solutions proposed by the World Bank.
The client was very pleased with the final result, and they came back for more animation projects. Throughout the production process, I worked closely with the World Bank team to ensure that the final product met their expectations and effectively communicated the key information about the Climate Change Action Plan in an engaging and informative way. The success of the project and the positive feedback we received are a testament to the impact of the project. Overall, this project was a great opportunity for me to use my animation and design skills to bring an important message to life.
