The National Geographic - Killer Animal Tactics project was a graphics package created for a new show on the National Geographic Channel. I served as the Creative Director and was responsible for the overall concept and art direction of the project. The package included a show logo, title sequence, and several on-screen graphics that were used throughout the show.
The process began with the creation of several logos for the show, but eventually, we landed on the current one that was used. For the show graphics, given the limited availability of footage, we proposed using high-quality photos and fake camera movement, combined with graphic elements to create a visually interesting composition. We created custom icons, title sequence, IDs, transitions, and more.
The final product was a visually striking and engaging graphics package that effectively communicated the theme and tone of the show. The show aired in May of 2020 and was well received by the audience.
Throughout the production process, I worked closely with the National Geographic Channel team to ensure that the final product met their expectations and effectively communicated the theme and tone of the show. The success of the show and the positive feedback we received are a testament to the impact of the project. Overall, this project was a great opportunity for me to use my creative skills and design expertise to bring a visually interesting and engaging graphics package to life.
