The US Department of State - Priority Date project was a video created to explain the process of applying for an immigrant visa with the US Department of State and the importance of the priority date. I served as the Creative Director and was responsible for the overall concept, art direction, and storyboarding of the project.
The client, the US Department of State, approached us with the request to create a video that would effectively communicate the process of applying for an immigrant visa, which can be a complex and difficult process for many people. I proposed using a character animation video, as it would be an entertaining and engaging way to deliver the information, and the client loved the idea.
The final product was an animated video that used characters and humor to explain the process of applying for an immigrant visa and the importance of the priority date. The video was well received by the client, and was shown on screens at visa centers and on the department's website.
Throughout the production process, I worked closely with the client to ensure that the final product met their expectations and effectively communicated the key information about the immigrant visa application process in an engaging and entertaining way. The success of the video in helping people understand the process is a testament to the impact of the project. Overall, this project was a great opportunity for me to use my creative skills to make a complex and difficult process more understandable to the public.
