The AFCS - C17 Globemaster III project was an exciting opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the Air Force Civilian Service to potential recruits. As the Creative Director, I was responsible for leading the art direction and visual design of the project, as well as acting as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the production process.
The final product was a 360-degree video tour of a C17 Globemaster III aircraft, designed to give viewers an immersive and interactive experience of the plane. The video was narrated by a member of the Air Force Civilian Service, providing viewers with an in-depth understanding of the different roles and responsibilities of civilian employees within the Air Force. Alongside the main video, we also included a series of support videos and text that provided information on the specifications of the C17 Globemaster III aircraft and the various job opportunities available to civilian employees.
To ensure that the video was as engaging and interactive as possible, we chose to present it using Oculus Go headsets at various events. This allowed viewers to look around the aircraft in a truly immersive way, and provided a unique and memorable experience that helped to differentiate the Air Force Civilian Service from other recruitment options.
Overall, the AFCS - C17 Globemaster III project was a challenging and rewarding experience that allowed me to use my creative skills to promote a meaningful cause. The positive feedback we received from viewers at the events and the success of the recruitment campaign was a testament to the impact of the project.
