The AARP - Money Map project was a video introduction to AARP's new financial planning tool, Money Map. As the Creative Director, I led the art direction and motion graphics, as well as serving as a 3D artist on the project. The video was designed to be a minimalist 3D animation that depicted unexpected events that could cause financial trouble, and as the video progressed, the features of Money Map were introduced and explained.
The video was used by AARP on all their social media channels and on the Money Map website as a way to educate and inform potential users about the capabilities and benefits of the tool. The minimalist 3D animation style was proposed to the client and was well received as it effectively communicated the message in a creative and engaging way.
Throughout the production process, I worked closely with the client to ensure that the final product met their expectations and effectively communicated the key features of Money Map. The positive feedback we received from AARP and the success of Money Map are a testament to the impact of the project. Overall, this project was a great opportunity for me to use my creative skills and motion graphics expertise to promote a meaningful and valuable tool for people to better manage their finances.
